On the way to Norway we get a first impression of Sweden. Autumn is in full swing here and we enjoy the beautiful nature and the special architecture along the way and in the cities.
The bridge
Those who have seen the Swedish-Danish series The Bridge (EN), Bron (DK) will recognize it, the only permanent link between Denmark and Sweden, the Øresund bridge.
Söderåsens National Park
We find our first overnight stay at a small lake in the Söderåsens National Park. We take a walk around the lake and in the forest. The autumn colors come out extra well with the setting afternoon sun.
The next morning, after a quiet night in the forest, it is still clear and sunny.
Kopparhatten
The Kopparhatten is located a bit further in the same nature reserve, a viewpoint over the mountains and forests of the area. Again we are lucky with the weather and the light.
Skummeslöv beach
The weather is still nice when we arrive at the beach of Skummeslöv around lunchtime, although it is a bit more cloudy.
Nyhagasjön lake
Through Park4Night we find a beautiful nature spot on Lake Nyhagasjön. It is fresh and windy and the sun is hiding behind the clouds. When we go for a walk at the end of the afternoon, the sun shines and the area shows itself at its best.
Göteborg
On our way to our next destination, we take a city walk in Gothenburg. The Haga district is especially pleasant. (More about our next destination in our next blog)
