After crossing from Morocco (see Leaving Morocco after 28 weeks (video)) to Spain, we fully enjoy the pleasures of European life. Groceries in the supermarket, driving on good roads and a drink on a terrace.
Despite Covid-19 and the associated limitations, it is still wonderful to be able to move freely knowing that we can just drive to the Netherlands if we want to.
Andalucia
Our first night in Spain, together with Melissa and Chris, we look for a camper place at the port of La Linea with a view on the rock of Gibraltar.
The four of us go out for dinner one last time, tasty fish with a good glass of wine.
The next morning our roads separate, Chris and Melissa go to Granada and we want to see Valencia. It was a beautiful time together.
Because we always avoid the highways and toll roads, we pass Tolox on the way, where cousin Wolter lives with his partner Bart, nice to stop by. We end up staying two nights.

The white Andalusian towns are wonderful and camping by the sea is splendid, we enjoy.
Murcia
The Murcia region offers a lot of natural beauty, beautiful old buildings and also special camping spots.
Valencia
Neither of us had visited the city of Valencia. She surprises and enchants us with her special old and new architecture and accessible structure. Fully recommended.

And of course her food culture, Paella Valenciana and Crema Catalan.
Albufera Natural Park, just south of the city, is known for the rice fields and waterfowl that reside there. We discover it with our new bicycles.
And because we are always looking for special places, also here in Spain, thanks to a tip from one of our followers, we find Deltebre Natural Park, the Ebro Delta. Peace, space, nature and a beautiful sunset.
